Papa Steve is an artist emphasizing seascapes and portraiture. Before this, he practice law for 36 years.
Papa Steve holds a first place prize in 2011 from Saddleback Art League (SAL) for his pastel portraits of an Irish woman and received honorable mention for his other works from United Society of Pastel Artist. Besides the Emeritus Institute Art courses, he has attended workshops here and abroad in oil, pastel, watercolor painting. He is also a present vice-president of art programs for the SAL.
