Recording
Drum part composition: I compose the drums along to your stereo mix and capture the drums and your mix into an MP3 file. I send you the MP3 and we discuss my parts. We go back and forth until you are happy with the drum parts.
Drum tracking: Once agreed upon, I track the final drums into Pro Tools. The final output will be individual drum tracks as well as an overall stereo mix of my drums.

Mixing and mastering: I have over 20 years of experience working across Pro Tools and Logic. Mixing is a labor of love for me. I approach this with heavy collaboration by sending out mixes with extensive notes and questions, going back and forth until we are all delighted with the outcome.
Full Band Sound Capture
I can record a full band (up to 16 tracks at once) or one instrument at a time. All of my recording gear is portable, allowing me to move around my home or record remotely. I have a Yamaha G2 grand piano available in a very live room in my home.

Yosemite Day - Hal Hirsch is a stylistically diverse guitarist and composer that I work with. For this song, I tracked the drums and also did the mixing and mastering. This one was challenging as I had to play along with and arrange a very unique drum loop that opens the song and sets the feel of the song.
She Is - Peter Seckel is a talented guitarist and composer. He and I collaborated on this lovely bossa nova that he wrote for his wife. I played drums and shakers and then fully mixed and mastered the song.
Chris Koch
Chris Koch is a poet, songwriter, and guitarist … and harmonica player! He has several albums out and is actively tracking his next one. I am on several of those tracks. We collaborated on the below songs towards the beginning of the Covid era. I tracked the drums last, on top of all other tracks, a bit challenging to do but it was fun nonetheless! I also mixed and mastered these recordings.
Beautiful Blue - Marina Meyler is a singer/songwriter and mandolin player from Dublin. I played all drums and percussion on her album which is available on most streaming platforms. For this song, we tracked drums in my studio (the rest was tracked in a studio in Montclair, NJ)
